Can I apply separately for citizenship?

I’m completing my 1095 days this month, but my wife still needs six more months before she is eligible to submit the application.

If we apply separately, will it make any impact? Is there any way for citizenship officer to determine whether we apply separately or jointly during test?

You can proceed individually. There are a lot of families where one spouse becomes a Canadian Citizen while the other stays a PR (by choice).

Applying for citizenship is solely your choice, you could choose to remain a PR
