The rate offered by ICICI doesn't appear to be competitive compared to the market rate. What are the other legal options to get best exchange rate ? Does XE works for CAD to INR.

As the amount to be transferred is reasonably large sum, I need to hunt for the best rate even if there is a higher fixed charge.

I am also thinking to bring money from India and waiting for exchange rate to go down.

I am not in hurry as I need money in Jun 2010.

Do you think rate will go down?
