You cannot approach a dermatologist directly. Ask your Family physician for a referral.

Hi,
Any simple looking "acne" are categorised and identified and treated uniquely .
My daughter had it cured by Dr Amin located in "Northyork"
I can find the tel No if you need, although I do not have it

Its pretty normal at age 13 to have acne. You can go to a specialist but their medications are very strong and while they usually remove acne, they can dry the skin out.

Have you reviewed her diet? Chocolate and Chips are the worse for teenage acne.

What does she use on her skin? Does she touch her face a lot?

Try pro-active solution but I think that is for adult acne. It is also pricey because you have to keep using it and once you stop the acne returns.

I agree she should drink plenty of water, eat fresh fruits and fresh vegetables.
