these expiriences are so true....i feel i can relate with them. Being in a foreign country and having someone from your homeland befriending you usually makes you feel good, but with people like these, USING YOU as a ladder (or rather pyramid) is so upsetting!!!!

can't digest that I have well wishers on the forum can you? There is a saying beauty is in the eyes of beholder. To know nice and true people, you have to be one of them.thank u ritz3645:)

And now I am totally confused.................

I thought Gopalpai, you wanted to help. I am asking you how to do what you have offered to do, you write something which I simply cannot understand.

I asked for this for two reasons:

1. My evenings are free and I have been looking for something to do on the side, which is interesting and if it can help make money, well, great.

2. One of my cousins in India I heard is doing some AMway thing - I have not been able to sit down with him and understand the thing, but I have seen him shift from a lousy one room apartment in some industrial area (where he lived for more than a decade) to a three bedroom apartment in a reasonably nice locality in Jaipur in last three years. He is supporting his aged parents, his wife and an unmarried child (after marrying off 5 other children). And I am told this is all due to his Amway business. I am also informed that both he and his father (my uncle) had some health problems which have been cured due to this new business.

And therefore I am really interested. I know his son is studying some IT course and may be that is the networking he is using.

Hi! Chandresh,
I am so happy to know that in this fast world you have time and have made a sensible decision to go in self business by joining Amway.

Your Cousin's story is so inspiring, and reflects his commitment courage and strength to succeed in a city (Jaipur) where youngsters tend to migrate or join the local tourist guide industry.

I understand of your curiosity and eagerness to join the company and are still unable to find contact details of Amway marketing group.

What i can advise you is if you are living in a condo to inquire with your Building Supervisor of people who are currently with Amway.

And if you are living in a house you must be rich just make a call using your land line on info number (411).

An alternate will be to ask CD members to send you a pm of people who are presently with Amway.

I hope i could be a help in your pursuit for self actualization, and wish you a wonderful association with Amway.

Hi, Ritz;

Nice advice.
But some people (including me) still wants to know more about OP offer of helping others in networking and making additional income. I wish, OP can post that more information now, for the benefit of others and to give befitting reply to any doubts.

I think you fail to get the point I am making. I have NOT made the decision to join Amway - I first want to learn about it.

Secondly, people who say they do not have time, they are either not managing their time properly, or they forget to write/say what it is that they do not have time for. In most cases, they have time for things which are high on their priorities but not for others.

By the way, my cousin is past retirement age........he started this when he was about 60-61. And I also think that you are totally misinformed about youngsters in Jaipur. They do run family businesses a lot.

I have no eagerness to join the company, but I have eagerness to learn about a possible business line. I have NOT tried to get the contact details, but have enquired from Gopalpai how she can help me - that too when she put her selfless services on a public forum.

No I am not interested in asking Supervisor of the condo which I have let out, nor am I interested in asking on 411. I am keen on learning from a successful person like Gopalpai who has done similar thing for over 4 years.

And I do not think living in house makes you rich. I am thinking of shifting to a condo in about 2 years time when my children go out to live on their own and when it will become difficult for me to maintain a house - NOT because I will become poor.

Good one  Get all you can from those little bums while they are living on your roll. Especially things like shovelling, mowing, mopping etc. This way there is chance that they will move out sooner.
I guess you have 2 years left to do all kinds of networking within/outside house and maintain it as well. Good luck! hopefully your plans to move to condo will still be optional when Gopalpai holds your hand on the path to become rich (er). But you will have to decide whether to take a lesson or get an advice from her. Oh well I guess it does not really matter since she may not charge for either. But I am sure based on your philosophy, whenever training will be completed you will offer her  like Eklavya did to Dronacharya.

Im sorry but did someone just use "self actualization" and "Amway" in the same sentance? Now im convinced this is a cult:

oh, one more thing I think Amway Slogan is exactly opposite to that of yours "Lesson are free...Advice Amway charges for" Mainly because they have only one advice which is costly for them and that is: "Get out!"

Sorry sweetheart, but I don't think of my children in the manner you have described. And neither do we believe in asking the children to do all the physical work at home. May be you do, and I don't have any reservations or comments against that.

And please for heaven's sake, (if not for your or mine), do read my post carefully and try to understand that I am looking for something interesting to do in the evenings, and as I said if it brings money, that is an additional sweetner. I think you are stuck with the idea that this business is for becoming rich(er).

And Gopalpai, do you wish to continue with your original idea of help or that was just a shot in the air ??? (as it seems now, since you are not responding to what people are asking you)
