I need to get some 6-8 photocopies mannuals from India totaling around 3-5 kgs .

What are the most advisable and cheaper ways to get them ?

Book Post / Courier / cargo / else ?

Would appreciate suggestions .

I had got grade 8,9,10,11,12 books from Tamilnadu high school text books from Chennai. I had them sent by sea mail and it took nearly 6 to 7 months to receive in mississauga and it costed nearly 500 bucks.

I strongly suggest that you should get it by somebody who comes here and pay him cash here. This way he earns for his effort and you get it on hand immediately.

It would have costed nearly 10 times to get the same by courier.

My experience.

Although I have not used their services, I keep on reading their advertisements in Desi News Paper they carry or ship stuff @ $ 4 /-per Kg .
Refer to some of the popular "Desi News Paper " you'll surely find it.
I am deliberately not posting any names , as many members will start advising on this is not the forum for doing this.
