This is a very controversial topic!.
Please read and ignore this post.
I do hope this will not be skewed out of proportion.
I request people to be very careful while responding.
If you cannot add value do not respond. It is better not to respond than to respond and display your ignorance.
Every post does not need a response.
Silence is golden, Ignorance is bliss!.
The idea behind this topic is that to bring awareness to CD's all over the world of certain affairs in India.
If a state can disappear and now a temple can disappear how will long will it take for your land, home, apartment or your property to disappear in India?.
Another reason is that we had a EU delegation who visited Kandhamal recently to do a investigation. When something happens in Kandhamal or in Ayodhya the whole world is viewing it, while something happens in India with majority population nobody seems to know about it or care about it.
This is a small controversy now but it has significant opportunity to be played out of proportion by groups with vested interest.
Is it the church or certain individuals with vested interest in grabbing the property involved in this in the name of God?.
The government which usually pounces on issue is very quiet when it comes to the majority Hindu causes.
It is very interesting that Punjab is the first state in India to computerize all the land transfer/registration details in India. What kind of Pandoras box will the computerization and free access will create when the other states start opening up their land transfer details?.
In the google map of India it clearly shows the Arunachal Pradesh, while in Google China it does not show Arunachal Pradesh. When state of India disappears on the map, how long will it take for a temple to disappear ?.
Where do we stop historically ?. That is at what point of time do we stop referencing.

The link is in tamil and I'm providing an approximate translation to the same here.
This is in reference to the Kothanda Ramar Temple which is nearly 500 years old and is located at a place called Chenji and it is Villupuram District of Tamilnadu.
The Nayak kings and also the Vijayanagar emperors built a fort and also many a temples around Chenji. Many a kings from Indian kings, Mughals, French and the British had an eye on this location.Whenever there was a war between French and the British in Europe this Chenji Fort location was attacked. In 1714 the Nawab of Arcot attacked the Raja Desingu and destroyed this fort.
In this attack the temples of Pattabhi Ramar, Venkata Ramar, Seetha Ramar and Kothanda Ramar temples were heavily hit. For another 10 years the Nawabs ruled and for another ten years that is until 1750 the French ruled this location. In 1761 AD the English regained control of this location.Since 1761 no Hindu King ruled the Chenji fort and hence it lost any significance.Since then the English did not spend much to fix these temples. Hence the people who ruled this location passed over these lands including temples to people who did not renovate or fix these temples. Later in English rule the archealogical department brought the artistic Venkata Ramar and Pattabhi Ramar temples under their control.
The Seetha Ramar and the Kothanda Ramar temple on the Sankarapani river have been left uncared for since then. But certain religious ceremonies have been conducted with the statue of Rama, since then in the halls of these temples.
Last December 7th 2009 a local church has made a complaint to the local police station that these lands belonged to the local church. The Chenji thashildhar has conducted two peace meetings since then.
The local church has shown a 1878 registration document registerd at Tindivanam subregistrars office showing that the 1.70 Acres of land holding the Kothanda Ramar temple has been sold by the Mayilam Devasthanam Adhinam to the Rev Yefrus of Mayilam Vedanthangal Church.
The hindus accept this document but claim that there is another original document attached to this registration and that mentions that the transaction does NOT cover the Kothanda Ramar temple and two Mandaps.
The recent No-Encumberance certificate from the land registration office shows that no land transaction has happened since 1878.But the land Patta has been transferred to somebody named kandiyar. The local hindus have formed a trust in 2008 to renovate this Kothanda Ramar temple.
Yesterday the local church has stopped the religious ceremonies in the temple and have locked up the temple.Recently in the Governmental records the words of Kothanda Ramar temple has been erased and also when the trustees of the renovation committee have used RTI to find out how the patta to the land has been transfered to somebody, when no land transaction has happened.
There has been no response from the local governmental agency.

Sunny Leone a true Canadian DESI now back in India !.

M sure most friends guessed it and yes you are right ..YIPPIE
- At Independence India has just above 10% muslims, and today it has close to 13.8% (or may be more by now).. A growth of more than 30%.Pakistan had above 18% Hindus and today it has less than 2% a decline of more than 90%. Where did the millions of Hindus disappear in Pakistan? How is Muslim population growing in India if they are discriminated against and How did a Muslim became president of India?
- Third rate citizenship for Hindus: Pakistan treats hindu’s as a Third class citizens behind christians who have better rights than Hindus. In India Minorities enjoy same privileges as everyone, but special protection by constitution, however in Pakistan there are no constitutional safe guards and there are Blasphemy laws that restrict practice of any other religion than Islam in Pakistan.

If we are to accept the fact that this globe has become a village, then we should review this whole concept of "majority and "minority". In reality, it is Hinduism and other sister religions born in the sub-continent like Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism which are really minorities and their religion and culture must be protected as such. Unfortunately, it is the other way around in India. For all this, people from these religions call for peaceful co-existence and do not believe in converting or destroying any other religion by covert or overt methods. They also do not claim for any divine sanction quoting any religious text for doing the same.
