Can someone shed some light on this
I checked the E-CAS
It shows my app in Process

We received your application to sponsor ( My Father ) on March 6, 2008.

We started processing your application on February 11, 2010.

Question
1) Why does it only have my fathers name, as I sponsored both my parents - is it because he is the primary person on the form?
2) CIC Site says processing upto May 24th 2007 as of today so *processing your application on February 11, 2010* is conflicting

I called CIC and Confirmed

Reply: As he is Principal Applicant

2) CIC Site says processing upto May 24th 2007

Reply: Just when I was added in E-Cas

Hi Reg828....can you tell me how to check the e-cas status for family sponsorship as I did not received any file no. yet. I applied for parent sponsorship in June 2007 and so far only one correspondece for application acknowledgement received without any client id no.

Please confirm how did you check the online status ?
