I need to buy all appliances. I dont want anything fancy just good appliances of reliable brand names.

I have not bought appliances before so I would like some guidance on what to look for/what to avoid, how to save on costs and any outlets which will give me good value for money.

Thanks all,

If you can give sometime to the process I would suggest:
Look into Kijiji- there are some people who would be selling because of relocation etc; again they maybe used but still good....
If you want new, look for Sears depot where they store floor model or some with dent.
If you want absolutely new- look in Future Shop, Sears, home depot and if you find some that you like and it's better if they are in special, you can do a 'Price match' in any of the other store for lesser than the special price on sale....
good luck-K

They are in Mississauga. They also have a clearance center in Burlington. You can see a few scratch and dent sales there. Most or all of the appliances are new. I have no dealings with them. But this week they have, a washer and Dryer the old hurdy gurdy type, both for $500. +Tax. 18 Cu.ft Inglis top&bottom Refrigirator for $400 + and a Stainless steel dishwasher for $500 +. A kitchenaid package three piece for $1900 plus 10% off in rebates and a Microwave thrown in. All steel. (S.S.)The sale ends.... contact 1-877-goemans/905 820 2600.
