I am looking to find mountainous places near toronto (Most likely in US) where one can enjoy nature and scenic views and drives.
Looks like Ontario is boring as hell and the nearest respite is Mont Tremblant which is far but otherwise good for a day or so.
Any other hidden gems?
If you really want to enjoy mountainous views, come to Alberta.
Jasper, Banff in canadian rockies are really nice place to enjoy mini vacation.

Well, thanks for the replies guys but I am looking for areas close to GTA.
I have been to Alberta Rockies and they are out of this world. Too bad I can't afford to fly out every week end.
Vancouver and Whistler are cool as well. Again even farther than the Rockies.
Collingwood, Moonstone are more like ski places, not my cup of tea.
The ones I have really liked so far are the Adirondacks, Smokey Mountains and Mont Tremblant.
Any good spots in or around upstate NY / Pennsylvania
