Hello guys- esp. those in Ottawa,
Could you please comment on these two events or suggest any other that is worth going to in the summer. I saw these event listed on community announcement here http://www.indianmorning.com/ANCMNT-20100718.html
1. For the first time ever, The India Canada Association will host a joint picnic, in conjunction with almost all of Ottawa’s regional Indian associations. The picnic will be held on Sunday, July 25th, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Saunders Farm. The ticket price of $10 per person will include the cost of admission, a taste of regional foods, and access to all of the Farm’s activities including mazes, wagon rides, puppet shows, etc. Children age 2 and under are free. Only limited number of tickets are available, so please purchase tickets immediately as it will be closed soon. 2. BIPS Festival 2010 will be held from Friday, September 24th to Sunday 26th at Confederation Park (opposite City Hall) from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM,each day. The program includes Classical and Folk Dances, Musical Concerts, South Asian Cuisine and Boutique. Come with family and friends, and join 3-day event of fun and entertainment, For more information, please call Dewan Chowdhry at 613-234-8882, Arun Sarkar at 613-294-8532 or Madan Gopal at 613-737-9653.
