All a desi knows his rights, duties he always forgets fast. Freedom of speech is not absoloute fundamental right, it should be used with caution. One can not say what ever he likes and says and then comment that he has freedom of speech. That member imate was also using his freedom of speech, then why you were getting angry on it. You should have been happy when he used his freedom of expression and insulted Hindus here, because that was his freedom of your style of expression.

I would have learnt if i would have been ignorant to it. Joke on others religion is no humour, especially when others mind it.
When that member was making jokes on hinduism then why you were not distinguishing. You were taking that as insults only or you were enjoying those jokes which were in the form of insults. Your jokes are also insults on sikhs. This sort of humour is not required here you can have it in your home and enjoy privately.
Joke on Sardars is not specific to a religion. Jokes are jokes and that's the way Indian jokes are made of. If you are ignorant of that then my wisdom is that you speak with your desi friends and surf websites and you will get your answer. Still if you do not realise then I have to doubt your wisdom and common sense.
If you have spare time please go through all the posts for the thread you are referring to, then you should realise that I did not create those jokes but rather those are available on the internet for public view. Again how you understand that depends on your common sense.
It is not the only thread where imate1 beacame abusive and threatening. imate1 had done that before in other threads and I was not part of those. Why don't you reserve your teachings for others beacuse I am not at all interested in your advices.

Use Santa Singh and Banta Singh in the Jokes and the whole issue of insulting a perticular community would go away! And the essential humor part of the joke would be the same!
