There are several other profession, where tons of wealth can be created. Get an MBA in Finance & than move to Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Dubai (where you feel like India, closer to home, no racism, & a decent quality lifestyle).
East is expected to boom in this century. Wealth is gradually shifting eastwards.

Don't fear too much.
Risk is everywhere.
Don't u drive or get into the bus?
So think positively.
I was talking to become an employer rather than employee.

As an employer -
1. You just increase your Liability.
2. You work 24hrs (even though you are at home, but you are mentally working).
3. There is potential for Gain, but also there is tremendous potential for Loss (many families have separated, gone through medical & financial trauma, only because of business ownership)
4. Economic cycle, boom bust recession depression, can wipe out all your assets, putting you back on the street (as it happens with most business owners)
For employee - being an employer looks good but the reality isn't as it looks..
(as grass looks greener on the other side)

That is why we have two types of people. Those who always think to become businessmen and those who always think to become employees.

Here is good old quote if u can understand
"uttam kheti, madhyam baan
nikhid chakri, bheekh nidaan"

Which means doing job is just one level above becoming a beggar.

Easy , easy.
I'm not considering truck driving at all.

Acc to my research, the problems that immigrants face are -
1. Language - Not good @ English.
2. Adaptability - Don't like the western culture , oppose it.
3. Financial planning - The younger ones spend too much too soon.
4. Socializing - People prefer to live among their own community instead of mixing with native Canadians.
5. Too much expectation - Expect more output with very little input.
6. Age factor - Come at the age of 30,40+ with 10 years of experience in their fields , expect a job on the basis of their experience, but end up doing something completely different.

These are the mistakes i don't wanna make.

I agree with your points above.

You are on a right track dude. 18 to 22 is the perfect age to immigrate. Keep your options (with your mind) open with due planning. I can see you indeed have ingredients to succeed in the West. Keep it up!

Well said. Numbers 2, 3, 4 and 5 are brought upon themselves by the immigrants.

I am being judgemental but you are definately on right track.
Earlier you come to west better it is.Student visa allows you 20 hours of work each week in most countries,it is good enough to survive.
Most people study alongwith their jobs once they are past the basic qualification and that's the route to moving up the ladder. The number of people doing full time post graduations is quite less in west unless if you are in research and go on to Ph'd's etc where you would be in university full time.
You have the right haryanvi attitude and you must go for it...take chances and take risks but be calculative about them..
