This is not to beat up Canada and is based on my seeing the facts happen to my close friends.

1. 1 person contacted E-coli. The doctors overlooked the E-coli in the urine test and said take Tylenol. The person was on the death bed 3 days later and was rushed to emergency. They saw the report again and gave anti-biotics for E-coli. Say for example that you visit Toronto General hospital for the test and they give you a Ok signal that nothing is wrong, can you go back and say check again? They will kick you out.
atleast in India, you can have multiple opinions for Rs.50 a visit and buy anti biotics over the counter.

2. 1 person had running nose/ cold / cough for 1 month. After 3 days visited walk in's. All recommened tynelol and when the person asked for anti biotics was seen sarcastically (since the person suffering was visible minority. Most doctors think that these people are refugges and that they came in a boat to take the benefits reserved for the Gora man). It took a month and a desi doctor to finally say that this will lead to pnemonia and was prescribed antibiotics. The cold left in 3 days after that.

So everywhere problems are the same. we have bedbugs here too (despite the cold). But solutions are better in India. That is why we are 1100 million (Canada's population 34 million)
Peace

Having an engg. background if I appear in any medical exam in Canada and I think I can become a doctor because every question I have to answer as 'Tynelol'
Doctors here don't know anything beyond 'Tynelol'. They just sit in the clinics and pretend that they are too busy.

TK,

I put in a genuine post about how few people I knew suffered because of something crappy they contracted. I wish you didn't make a mockery of it and post a silly tit for tat. The fact is all three of them received or receiving excellent care regardless of where they currently live (2 in India).

If you had taken care to read my post and not pull out text that is convenient for you, you would have realized I did not criticize or mention healthcare anywhere because healthcare was never an issue with any of these three.

Also, did I not mention anybody can contract anything from anywhere? It could be anything from diabetes to obesity that is killing people in NA to other crazy stuff from other parts of the world.

After living abroad for many yrs, our immune system get weakened due to various reasons. Foreigners are more prone to these deceases when they travel to India.

Not really a case of weak immune system, rather the fact that when one travels from a clean environment to a dusty one his/her health is bound to be affected. This happens to me all the time. I had sinus/migrain in India all my life due to the pollution(Yes, Doc said that). I am perfectly healthy now and both migrains and sinuses disappeared the day I moved into Canada.

So, it's not all bad, eh?

For me, India and Canada are two distinct countries and comparing them (always) is akin to comparing Apples to Oranges. So, I often refrain from it on internet as well as in my real life regardless of any situation.

The only aspect I admit, I compare always is the great road side food in Delhi where I was born and raised. Nothing in the whole world could beat that!!! :)

Tell that to Lisa Ray.

I do not know why some people think that anti-biotics or other special medication is the only way to cure all the remedies? I sincerely hope that none of the CDs have to look beyond Tylenol to cure their ailments.

See, you solved your own mystery ... now you know why you are not software engineer

 :D lmao Maharaj.

Happy birthday! :D Good memory, you still think about that "Cool Drinks" sold by doctors and nurses..
