You want /expect Obama or any other west leaders name to be mentined in an indian event?
He mentioned Atal Bihari Vajpayee too.

Forget Kalmadi and Priyanka's puppy, there were thousand peoples' effort behind this successful show.
We must appreciate all those efforts - from labour men to army men, all Delhi citizens who bear traffic chaos, dust pollution and diversion signs just for sake of this game.

Why would Obama be mentioned? Neither I am in his awe nor should he appear on CWG radar. If western leaders are to be mentioned at all, I would have expected Harper.

What is the point of mentioning Indira/Rajeev/Sonia. And if they are mentioned, why not VP Singh/HD Dev Gowda/IK Gujral/Chandrashekhar?
Despite corruption and scandal, an excellent job by technicians, choreographers and artists. Now the secularists will start criticising the meditating figure and the "OM" symbol at the podium.
It must be on helluva job to create and visualise this opening ceremony.
