The CWG opening ceremony was magnificent, but that does not take away all the wrong doings of all the culprits. Why it is so difficult for some people to do an introspection of their own selves or their motherland? Now if only an auditor could account for each and every paisa spent on this event.

I did not answer this way to this post for two resons :
1) Do not look at negative things on issue.
2) Look for positive things and remain positive.
In canada, whther it is company or individual it is in the following way:
1) Do not look at positive things on issue.
2) Look for negative things and remain negative.
DD carried it very well whereas the private media (tv) was spending too much time on talking rather than showing te event. The kid on the tabla did real well. Only dent was the booing from a section of crowd when Kalmadi spoke.
Rest was fantastic.

Fine with me. The entire hue and cry was about billions dollars being spent for a fake lake, not for misappropriation of funds. If you think the funds were misused, go complain to your MP, or if you live in Alberta or rural Ontario, vote for liberals in next federal elections to ensure that conservatives do not get the majority.
And yes, I would like to get an account for all the funds misused in the e-health scandal, including my tax money that went paying toward's that American consultant's muffin and coffee.
And yes, I am pissed off about $85 million computer leasing scandal at Toronto city hall, which resulted into a costly inquiry but nothing came out.
On positive side, Chuck Guite and few other people did serve jail time for sponsorship scandal.
