Indian private banks are more safer than BIG USA banks. 
fact is Its a govt bank or pvt bank they are liable to pay for your deposits if bank doomed upto 1 lakh weather you have 10 lakh in your account , and that will take years to come ....

Isn't the deposit insured to 1 lakh by a third party insurer such as the CDIC in Canada? If so, why should it take years to retrieve the money?
Also, the key is to spread the deposits so as to be eligible for the 1 lakh from different deposits or go withother type of investments.

Maybe not years, but certainly not days either.
There will be paperwork, forms, hassle, etc.
FDIC has been that way.

Yeah that's true though Indian banks not effect'd b'coz of recession Indian banks never on the top list.
