The best option IMO, is to immigrate to Canada if you can, get relevant experience, save some money and then look into further PG studies.

Having a certificate from college without Canadian experience serves no purpose. You are competing against thousands of similar college grads, who might have Canadian experience and hence have an upper hand.

Hi Meghal,

Thanks for your reply.

What does IMO mean ?

I thought that any IT experience specially in SAP was good for a headstart added with a college PG.

Thanks

What is your job target? From your posting it sounds like management in the SAP area? Do you wish to be a project manager?

It is recommended to identify your job target or career path first. Where do you wish to be in 5 years or 10 years and then work backwords from there.

Please do some research before deciding on a training program. The best research you can do is to look at job advertisements and look at what degrees/diplomas that employers are asking for. Look for patterns.

best route is to get yourself a job in TCS and ask them to relocate you to Canada. All SAP jobs in Canada are held by TCS deputed people and TCS admits professionals in you pay them a "fee". Anyways with your experience, TCS will hire you for sure without a "fee". Ask then to put you in a job in Canada and hopefully you can apply for PR after some time in Canada.

All college studies are for people other than in IT. You are already in IT. So what is the point in wasting money.
Canada is heaven for IT people as the pay is very much and work is very low.
Welcome to Canada.

Hi Tamilkuravan/Morning rain,

This email is very encouraging. I have many of my friends in TCS although they are roaming around all over the world no one told me about this option. Maybe it was true about 8 to 10 yrs back when many TCS employees would go to USA then switch jobs over there and settlein USA.

I was in the worlds biggest consulting company and there too the number of people in queue for such opportunities is a lot. The option you gave totally depends on chance and luck, I think 1 in a 1000 would be lucky to get such a chance.

Yes, your evaluation is correct. Management is what I am interested in. I am planning to go for a PG in international business. Any idea what would happen if I spend 1 yr in this course and then return to SAP side.

Thanks

Hi Voltrex,

Thanks for the info. I will try to arm myself with a couple of internationally recognized certifications like PMP & SAP certifications so I can stay in the competition.

Thank you
