The Supreme Court of India NAILED MMS - Manmohan Singh the PM of India with a series of questions to which neither his representative nor the Kangress Party of India had NO answers.

It is very clear that you do not need to accept bribe, but when a unethical act happens it is his duty as the third highest constitutional authority of India to take action on the guilty and NOT silently aid the dishonest act.

The petition was filed by Dr.Subramanian Swamy former Cabinet Minister of India and also referred by Tamil press as Joker/CIA agent and also RSS guy.

May be riots will break out in Brampton today over the scathing reaction of the Supreme Court of India on MMS his government, cabinet and his party.

This clearly establishes that MMS is the MOST corrupt PM ever of India.

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court today asked some embarrassing questions about the lengthy delay on the part of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in taking a decision on a plea for sanction of prosecution of former Telecom Minister A Raja in the controversial 2G Spectrum allocation issue.


"Can the sanctioning authority (Prime Minister in this case) sit on the complaint," a bench of Justices G S Singhvi and A K Ganguly asked during a hearing on a petition filed by Janata Party President and former Law Minister Subramaniam Swamy, who had sought sanction for the prosecution of Raja.

"The three months time for grant of sanction laid by the Supreme Court is clear for fair and good governance," the Bench told the Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium, who was appearing for the government.

"We find it is now now more than 16 months. The sanctioning authority can say I am not not inclined to give sanction. But we find alleged inaction and silence troubling," the Bench observed," adding "the sanctioning authority can say yes or no".

Congress steers clear of SC comments on PM

NEW DELHI: Congress today steered clear of the Supreme Court seeking explanation from the government as to why Prime Minister Manmohan Singh did not act for long on the issue of granting sanction to prosecute former Telecom Minister A in the 2G Spectrum scam.

"I do not know what is the observation of the Supreme Court. Whether it is an observation or direction to the government. I have not seen the text of it.

"First the party and the government would analyse what has been said and then will decide about the response to be given. Till the entire text of what the court has said is not seen and analysed, it will be very difficult to make any comment," party spokesperson Shakeel Ahmed told reporters here.

He was asked for his reaction on the apex court's action.

Janta Party leader Subramaniam Swami had sought the court's intervention on the ground that his application before the Prime Minister seeking his sanction to prosecute A Raja for corruption is pending for last two years.

The party also sought to back Raja's argument for putting in his papers as Telecom Minister.

"He has himself taken the decision to resign after talking to his party's leader and has also explained that he did it to ensure smooth functioning of Parliamentary democracy. We donot find any reason to disagree with his remarks," Ahmed said.

The Congress spokesperson categorically said neither the party nor the government are in favour of JPC into the 2G scam.

Ahmed, however, parried questions on CAG's remarks against Raja, saying the report has been tabled in Parliament and the party will go through the constitutional process.

He also appealed to the opposition to get back to business saying "disrupting Parliament proceedings is no solution".

A senior Congress leader on the condition of anonymity said the PM's acknowledging letters written by Raja does not mean the licenses were sanctioned with his consent.

He said that the resignation of Raja points to changing equations in UPA II, where Congress is in a more powerful position with larger number of seats than it had in the UPA I government

All MMS is doing is working. All these years right from the lecturer in Punjab University to RBI Governor to Finance Minister to Prime Minister he had been only working. Except him no one in Govt has been working like him all these years. I think India is short of people who are really working for India. MMS can be anything except being corrupt.

Can some one tell me the names of people in Govt who are now a days been working for India Or someone who was working like MMS in Atal Bihari Govt.

MMS may not be corrupt but Captain has to avoid a shipwreck ... because a small leak can sink a great ship.

Only new information that has seen the daylight is regarding ordering planes for Air-India. When Air-India and their MD wanted only 28 planes, the minister Mr.Praful Patel ordered that it be increased from 28 to 68. 97% of the fund required for the purchase was to be received as loan and that Air India never recovered from this debt but sank to the abyss.

When BJP/NDA came to power in 1999, we expected some progress in the Bofors scandal but the scamsters were let off the hook.

This time around too, BJP after coming to power is going the same way regarding 2G, CWG or Coalgate. May be they have reached an understanding regarding the quantum of losses as to how many lacs of crores.

India being a peninsula surrounded by ocean on three sides, the people of the country can choose for themselves, which sea they should jump into. The shameless politicians, we can never expect them to hang their head in shame.

One such person Chacko who headed the JPC is now accusing Raja did ''Gadbad''. How bad of him to accuse only Raja for whom he never gave an opportunity to appear before the JPC and narrate the true story. This in spite of repeated requests from Raja.

More than the lies rattled out before by Chacko, we like his accent. Rrraja, Sanjar Bavan, Kamal Nadh etc. He really has the ''Tejas'' of his DMK friends who were pioneers in having corruption allegations and Enquiry Commission deployed against them even in early 1970s.
