Speaking for myself, the issue was never that he was not able to achieve anything in such a short time. The issue was that he quit, weaseled his way out of responsibility after taking on the mandate and showing nothing more than some theatrics. Your comparison makes no sense.
The vast majority of Indians clearly saw through this "nautanki" given the way they voted. But I guess its hard for some folks to move on.

In a way It was good that people were asking questions about the promises from AAP.
Too early to ask about growth, development & result oriented governance from this government I agree.
But my surprise is ( and thus comparison) that even after 100 days , there are no questions being asked on time bound promises by BJP ,such as initiative on black money, culture of corruption, women safety, shutting communal forces. Keeping silent on recent RSS and Yogi Adityanath's rants. Ministers are accused of gang rape (Nihal Chand), Also convicted ministers Amit Shah, Yedurappa are still holding leading positions, Modi keeps mum, and we are discussing MMS's silence throughout !
Janta keeping quite is Janta 's funeral. The famous Chalta hai attitude setting among masses for this govt also?? Are you also party to it BL ? I am not.

One reason for the corruption of MMS/Sonia/UPA and the brazenness with which they undertook the same, is the "Secularism" astra the Congress had in its arsenal. With this weapon Congress was almost guaranteed of the 35% minority votes. Getting a majority they thought would be cakewalk. But the unimaginable economic crisis it caused made people abandon their preference for UPA even where the minorities were in large numbers except in Kerala.
Like communists, secularists too should also be defeated if India should progress and in place of secularism which is loosely interpreted by politicians, the Constitution should be strictly enforced, whether it is majority or minorities.

( The goal should be to contain corruption to a degree where it does not affect the common man day in and day out, similar to how things work here. )
Agree but I don't see any policies and initiatives taken by new Government till now. when will they start thinking on these grounds. Can a common man or poor go to police station and government offices and get the work done easily? Can a common or poor man go to government hospitals and get the quality treatment ? Can a common man get the child admitted to school easily? If not, are there any steps or policies made and implemented by new government on theses?
(Modi's success will be to get the ball rolling and I believe he is taking the right steps on this.)
Can you please elaborate what right steps he has taken for the concerns you and San Hugo mentioned?
I understand that they cannot correct everything in short span but atleast they have to start from somewhere. India need to fix basic problems first. No doubt he is better than MMS and we have lot of expectations from him.

DELHI INDIAN
BJP has been in power at the Municipal level in Delhi (MCD) for quite a long time. The institution is the most corrupt and inefficient in the country, if not the world. Ask Delhites and you'll know first hand.
So, go figure.
