Indian govt. and the moral police are hypocrites.
they find Pam Anderson's role vulgar and objectionable yet Bollywood movies are 10 times more vulgar.
the explicitness of the movies has been steadily increasing for last 10 to 15 years and even in the TV soaps these days, there is open portrayal of pre-marital sex, extra marital affairs, teenage sex and so on.
if that is ok, what is wrong with this?
either clamp down on everything like the islamic countries or don't, but don't have double standards.
back many years ago the moral police had stopped the telecast of American shows such as Baywatch, Dallas and British soaps such as Eastenders.
it is the same hypocricy again
Pamela Anderson was paid Rs. 2.5 crores for a 3 day stinct. One could see that she was not comfortable in BB. The TRP ratings hit the roof during her presence, that means there is more moolah coming in thru adv. Indian Govt knew this. I&B minister/babus want a cut in the share. That’s the reason for the 11 pm move. The producers got the stay on it.
BB4 gone bad due to abusive language and other scenes. Clamping on it by the Indian Govt is a double standard. It comes down to cut in the moolah.
Are we all so naive to not understand that this was what the OBAMA-SINGH treaty was?
Didn't India promise 60,000 jobs for USA?

But US provided millions of jobs to Indians living in US who made India prosperous today. So, it is not bad to pay something back.

Look at the brighter side - we can now HIRE a gora ma'm to entertain our locals.
