I'm very sorry to make the following post. But I think this is what is happening in India.
What the current 2 G - Radia tapes have revealed is that all the 4 pillars of India have failed and India is a large mass waiting to fail on its own weight.
My personal biggest shock in this whole episode is the revelation of how corrupt a businessman RATAN TATA has been. I always thought he was beyond the typical Indian safari clad guys. This has revealed that he is also part and parcel of the Indian vaishya group.
The four pillars of the country of India are all rotten, hand in hand and gang raping the country of India.
Politicians
Bureacracy
Judiciary
Media-4th Estate
When you have deals made, money transferred and everybody looks for their family nobody cares for their mother land.
The irony is that nearly 30% of the Indian population is below the age of 20 and they do not have a sense of revolt towards the corruption, looting, plundering happening in India. They have accepted this behaviour as a norm and are willing to participate in this when they grow up.
How do you expect India to be shining when the future(potential citizens) are dark?.

Completely agree with the last paragraph in the article. Couldn't have been said better than this:

Likewise, getting a Rajya Sabha seat from Assam claiming he is a resident of the state when he has never had any such connection with Assam is a definite indicator of questionable political integrity.

Given the power that he has, I don't buy that he is just mere Puppet. Obviously he has something either to gain or to hide otherwise if he is "Honest" then no self respecting "Honest" would let corruption go rampant the way it is.
From other side: Article was going all good ... till writer brings in RSS/BJP/Modi. After reading these names, I am not sure if views are all un-biased.
