Hello friends,
I am wondering to know normally how long after the test we could expect to get oath letter? could you please share your time line? I took my test in hamilton at the end of october but still there is no update regarding oath invitation.
By the way, in test day, officer give me a note to do professional translation of my passport due to having non-english stamp. I did it and return translations 4 days latter. I do not know whether it could affect my timeline.
Your help and experiences are highly appreciated.

It depends from place to place..eg in Windsor time from test to Oath is approx 3-1/2 months, whereas in Toronto area its around one month. So its varies from place to place. Some one from Hamilton who got his oath recently could guide you better about this. But I think you dont need to worry, normally CIC sends RQs or some other inquiry questions if required within 2-3 weeks, you are out of that time.
Anybody from Mississauga who wrote their test back in Sept 2010 and still waiting on an Oath letter? My application is now in 23rd month of processing. Last month the CIC call center sent a message to the local office asking for an update. The local office has 30 days to respond which will be over this Friday.

Wrote test in Sept 2010 in Ottawa and still waiting for the Oath call..
Did you try contacting the Office ... I know people who wrote their test in March and have become citizens ..
In my case however , I have been asked to fill in and submit a Residence Questionnaire along with supporting documents and I expect sweet delay .... No cribbing they are doing their jobs in an effort to catch defaulters .

Yeah, saw a "Status Update" on my file that they sent me a "letter" on April 6th asking for more information. This is after I provided them with copies of tax returns for past 5 years at the test. Wonder what they were doing for the last 6 months???
CIC gets more incompetent by the day!
