What a game Ireland it was heartening to see emotions of a few but strong Irish fans- way to go! What a win against England.

I have been away from this forum for a while and it's an opportune time to look back and compare from my first post almost 40days ago and before the beginning of the World Cup and I feel proud in seeing that 3 out of 4 semifinalist were predicted correctly. In terms of players I would say many of them have shown good performances and I am pleased with what I said about Afridi, that he will do good with ball.
I really hope India does well on Wednesday and I feel Sehwag is due perhaps India might play Raina and Yusuf (someone I'm still waiting for a great performance and he might do that against Pakistan). They may drop Virat and perhaps also bring in Sreesanth in place of Munaf or even Ashish Nehra.

There will be riots in India if they lose to Pakistan.
I wish they had this game in Srilanka.
How will they get Dhoni and team out of Mohali stadium if they lose.
I do hope CRPF will protect Dhoni, Sachin, Sehwag, Gambhir and remaining members houses including Shreesanths home in Kerala.
I remember once last time when India lost they stoned Dhonis home with bricks.
Yesterday Mrs.Jayanthi Thangabalu of Congress was given a MLA seat in Mylapore Constituency in Tamilnadu.She is the wife of Thangabalu - President of Tamilnadu Congress Committee.
People of the same party protesting this ticket ransacked their home and set fire to their living room.
If they will do this for a simple MLA ticket , What will they do if India LOSES to Pakistan.
I hope Shahid Afridi will do the right thing of giving India a walkover.
In a recent discussion on our own Rogers - Mississauga Channel 10, the current president of cricket club who is from Pakistan clearly picked Pakistan as the favored to win. The other guy a guyanese of Indian origin picked India to win.
The reason given by this Pakistani-Canadian is that Pakistan is more balanced team like Srilanka than a batsman oriented team like India.
Hope D-Company under the instructions of Sharad Pawar does not play havoc in the games result. If Powerji instructs manoos and God of Cricket will comply and get out in the first over.

Let us pray God for the safety of all the players first. Is it a coincidence that all the "white" teams are out of the tournament. If not in all matches, in some matches they were definitely making lack lusture performances. Is it because they were not really keen to be present in Mumbai for the finals?
Look at list of what MMS had planned to talk to impuristan PM during the semifinals which bcci team managed to win.
(1) winding up of terrorist camps (as usual).
(2) List of terrorists to be handed over like Dawood Ibrahim, Hafiz Sayed, Laqvi etc.
(3)Speedy trial and punishing 26/11 perpetrators.
(4) Printing fake currency.
(5) Planning and executing fake demonstrations inside J & K.
Is these the list of things do any other head of state talk with anyone else of his status other than probably impuristan.
MMS may be wasting his time, but will go down well with the vote bank he intends to capture.
Look at what the enemy country PM had to say. He says that even though India had said that they will not talk after 26/11, they had to climb down, because of "PRESSURE FROM THE PEOPLE OF INDIA" to talk to impuristan. Can there may be a more insult and humiliation for the people of this country?
If MMS really wanted to do anything useful, he would have talked to the dons and other criminals lodged in Tihar Jail during the duration of that cricket match. Atleast some of them might have had a change of heart and become noble, listening to the old man.

What a feeling, what a world cup and yes, India is the world champion! So it was a world cup without Australia even in the semis and what a team effort by Indians and well led by Dhoni.
