Disclaimer: I'm just an average JOE and I like to try out food at various locations. I've no commercial or personal interests in any of these restaurants.

We visited Swagruhas Dosa Home a couple of times in the last month. I learnt that it has been there for the past year.
It is right next to Malton Gurudwarah in the Indian style Plaza. It is on the right extreme corner and it is next to the Afghani restaurant.
It is South Indian - Andhra Pradesh type of Vegetarian Food place.
It is authentic Andhra food.
They have the best RASAM in town.
I've tried Saravana Bhavan @ HWY 10- Tamilnadu rasam; Udupi @ Enfield place; Gurulakshmi @ EMPKWY - Karnataka Rasam and Gurulakshmi also with Chennai/Bangaluru Rasam.
Their Rasam stands out as the best for its authenticity.
If you visit them 11 Am to 3 Pm you should try their Mini Thali or their Mini Tiffin. They also have a weekend buffet.
The food reaches your table within 10 minutes.
Ask them for their Andhra Pickle.
This is a far better place than Gurulakshmi in terms for value for money.
The quality of Udupi at Enfield place has gone down in the past years.
I strongly recommend this place over others as the bill will not pinch you.
The negative is the ambience at this location. It looks like a fast food place and it is NOT a UPSCALE restaurant.

Another place which disappointed me was SAGAR RATNA on Mclaulghin and Derry. It is on derry road on a strip mall and on to the right of Mclaulghin/Derry intersection - East on Derry on the North side.
The positive is the ambience of the place. It feels like an upscale restaurant. The pricing is on the higher side. The manager/waiters are very hospitable and the table service is very good.
But the negative is the food taste.
I've eaten at the Sagar Ratna both Defence colony and in the other locations in New Delhi.
The taste doesnot compare to the Delhi quality.
This is not authentic south Indian but a food modified for the Punjabi community.
The food takes ever and ever to reach your table. May be this way they can push you towards their wine list.

Sunny Leone a true Canadian DESI now back in India !.
we were a group of six returning from niagara falls and decided to try swagruhas seeing the wonderful review from Vandemataram.
The place was completely empty at 1 clock(that should have given us the clue). we seated ourselves after seeing no one in the premises.
After a good 10 minutes, one of us had to go to the counter to 'persuade' someone to take our order.
Another 20 minutes goes by. orders are placed and the food slowly starts arriving one dish at a time with a interval of 10 minutes in between.
In short: Dosas are the only saving grace in this restaurant. Pooris were soaking with oil. Vadas were bitter in taste( which left 4 of us with tummy ache). The taste was very mediocre.
Avoid restrooms at all cost!. Badly maintained(perhaps last cleaned 6 months ago).
Upon asking for the owner, the guy says 'please bear with us. Our cook is very angry today!'.
Leaving the restaurant, we notice a sign on the door 'New kitchen help wanted'.
Some kind of restructuring is taking place. Avoid until all issues are sorted here.
thanks

I have not been to both the above places, however here's my take on this. Whom would you believe more? A person who has been active on CD for a long time or someone four post old. Take your pick!

Both reviews were personal experiences. How is it related to how many posts that a respective person made here? Funny
