This is nothing but the repeat of emergency 1975-77. Para military and police fired number of tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. Delhi police is giving a lame excuse that there was a threat on Baba Ramdev, so he had to be whisked out of the venue. 39 are injured and in hospital. MMS and Madam Sonia have done it, repeated the same what Indira Gandhi did. Shame on them. Kapil Sibal ended the press conf saying that this is a lesson to those who oppose the govt. and literally ran away from the press meet. Anna Hazare was supposed to attend the gathering today, June 5. Govt saw that this was a bigger threat when Babaji and Anna meet. For a moment I thought Babaji would be killed by police and blaming some other vested elements.
Shame on Congress regime. They have crossed all limits of barbarism. Have Indians become vegetables.
Shame on people who supports Congress. I doubt the culture they inherited from their parents.
What happened is unimaginable in so called biggest democracy in the world.
Is there any stopping to it?
Hijro ki jamaat hai India.

I don't think so . If you look at his following he is a force to reckon with ... I wonder if this mis act of Cong would lead to fall of the Govt . Lets wait and watch .
In stead of criticizing genuine actions of people , would it not be better to appreciate them ... At least there are handful of potent people who are making efforts against corruption . Even if it does not go away , that does not mean people should not effort and that their efforts should not be applauded .
It takes a lot of courage to be Anna Hazare or Baba Ramdev !!!

And how does one justify the Govt's unwarranted undemocratic , unconstitutional , ruthless barbaric action beating people at midnight ??

Baba's movement has got nothing to do with corruption ...... it is a back door attempt at regime change. In any case if anyone thinks that exit of Congress will see end of corruption is living in fools paradise.
Corruption in India is now ingrained in the culture. It has become a status symbol for most of the common people and people aspire to be part of it. And it is this culture of corruption that needs to be tackled.
If there has to be a reform movement it has to be at the grassroot level as it is this corruption that is more damaging. The cop who gets bribe on the road side in full view of common public is more dangerous then a politician.
Everyone one talks about Adarsh housing society but no one talks how 90% of Delhi has illegal construction.
Corruption by politician has been there in many countries like Japan and Korea but you will not find common people paying bribes. This is what is required in India ...... getting rid of corruption at the grassroot level. Throwing a few politicians in jail only brings a new crop of "hungry" politicians.
Baba Ramdev has asked the Govt that the money stashed abroad is Indian asset and its the Govt s responsibility to get it back .....
If you follow some of his lectures he is highly against the corruption at the Govt. level . If you observe you will find that corruption in India is more on the Govt / public sector rather than Private sector .
Its a known fact that things cascade from top to bottom ... So it need not be at the grass roots level but across all levels and if it starts at the top all the more better if the Commissioner of Police is an honest person , chances are - he will be more effective than a Cop being honest !!
Lets see what you are trying to say - Corruption in India is ingrained so heavily that if one efforts against it , it is 'nautanki ' .... In other words , one should not attempt and continue with the 'chalta hai ' attitude ...
Remember there s a word known as 'unprecedented ' and also remember that the Tunisian revolution started with a Police cop slapping a commoner .
I do agree that corruption in India is widespread , deep and ingrained .... Anna Hazare , Ramdev and any one else who efforts against it should be applauded and not at all criticized ..
And how do you explain the Govt's unconstitutional undemocratic bestial action ? Please give reasons to support that as well ....
