Hi
Thanks for stopping by.
I am currently residing in India. I had plans to visit my friends in Canada this month but my visa was rejected.
I already have a USA visa, by September i am planning to go to New York for a vacation and visit my relatives there.
Will i be able to apply for a Canadian Visitor Visa from New York?
In India they reject people at a high rate as the Canadian visitor visa has been exploited alot.
Considering the fact that i have been rejected once, how easy it will be to apply from USA?
Any ideas and suggestions will be very helpful.
Cheers
Amit
Yes, you can try. Whether or not you will receive one is upto the visa officer.
Every instance of visa application is reviewed independently with the documents submitted at that time; however, your prior record of visa applications will be reviewed and scrutinized.

You can apply for a visa only from the country of permanent residence or from a country of which you are a citizen. That means if you are visiting a country you cannot apply for a visa to a third country from there.
