Really nice inspirational video, San-Hugo.

TK Saab, you should really try coming back to Canada.

Maybe try another city say Vancouver, lots of developments going on. Need people with Architecture background.

Tourist,
Sorry. I am not willing to take that risk.
If you had said Alberta, I would have atleast flinched. But not BC.

Why not BC? It's not bad in terms of landscape and weather. Of-course I don't deny the artificially created Real Estate boom and the crazy house prices. Don't ask me how much I despise this fact here. Alberta doesn't fare quite well re. Real Estate boom, but at least they have a disposal incomes.

Nevertheless, resource sector is booming here and mining jobs are aplenty. Anyway, personal choice. You can try leveraging your SAP skills as well. IT and high tech sectors are on a way up in this pacific town.

Have you thought about applying to Canadian companies from India? Try it. You never know. It's about timing - who knows. May be try contacting some local recruiters here, while you're still at it and looking elsewhere for opportunities. Nothing to lose, I guess - just your resume with the companies/recruiters' here rather than lying idle in your computer.

My advise is to not take any decision in haste this time and move only if you have a job in hand. Remember, once bitten twice shy.

TK bhai, the amount of travelling you have done is enough to keep an entire set of ticket agents and airlines stay employed. :-)

You have already tasted Gulf, Canada and many others. Other than beautiful, "white" people there is nothing really here. Just a whole lot of burnt fingers.

I whole heartedly advise you to stay back in India and enjoy quality time with friends and family members. You will not get that kind of satisfaction anywhere in the world.

cheers

Rajgopal.

For that he needs to be happy in India, is'nt it ? and He is not. Better return to own country (CA) than living in some other country (IN), illegally.

Cd's,
I think you misread my statement. What I meant to say what BC is not a place to seek work but may be Alberta, as Alberta is hot with the current oil prices. Read redflagdeals.
I will not be coming to Canada at all (for job or recreation). You can bet on that. I prefer to visit Sydney Australia and if I need to settle, I am eying Australia only.

Peace

Murali Krishna
