Applying Citizenship and moving out of county

Can some one please let me know if we can apply for Canadian citizenship and then go back for home country for while?

Visit Canada for exam and oath and get the citizenship?

Yes.
It was possible in 2011. Do not know if the rules were changed recently.

It is not recommended that you leave the country while it is still in process. You are supposed to inform CIC if you leave the country while your application is still in process.

Not a problem. You can always go.

But as rajcanada said, it is recommended to complete the task without traveling extensively / long periods to avoid possible future additional paper work. So ... go only if you have to go.

yep you certainly can do so as long as someone is here to check your mails and notify you accordingly (exam date, oath date, additional docs etc).

You should be prepared for residence questionnaire and interview with judge if you leave the country for an extended period of time after applying for citizenship. If you manage to get letter for test while out of country, be prepared to fly at a very short notice.
