Hello everybody,
I am on study permit in Canada. I will get my Off- Campus work permit in April & will graduate in April 2013.
My spouse applied for visitor visa from India recently and got refusal saying that :
1. You have not satisfied visa officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay.
2. Your travel history. (their meaning may be- not been to any other country)
3. Not provided sufficient documentation to support your/host income and assets.(we showed 5.5 lac rupees in India and 2000$ in Canada & didn't showed any property docs because they had said in checklist- do not add extra document).
Actually we thought that only showing money in India was necessary.
If some one advice me for re-application...next time i can show $10,000 in my Canadian bank a/c.
Should my spouse apply for visa again???
Want to bring my spouse in Canada...
Experts & friends please reply.
Thanking you...
She can apply again.
Wait for few months, take a letter from the college that you are currently enrolled, show fat money in your bank, write a nice letter to consulate, have your wife show lots of funds in her account, show some ties with in India ( like employment, properties etc.,) and apply. She can as well try for open work permit since you are attending a public college.

ankurp1510 did you apply for dependent/visit visa??
thanks
I have just assisted in closing a similar case for one of our clients from Deli. It is NOT an extremely difficult situation and could always be corrected. I would suggest reconsidering and carefully analyzing all the documents you sent to the visa office in order to convince them. And do not panic! As I've just said, it could easily be corrected.
Sincerely,
Lina
