As mentioned in the title the growth is really "crazy". People are driving fancy cars, with children in front seat, with no seat belt and rubbing their cheeks against the wind shield. No fear for safety. On the outskirts, where 8 lane roads are laid, 2 and even 4 wheelers taking half road width and keep moving on the wrong side for kms together, to avoid U turn and return. We have the latest cars and technology, but the same old road sense. If anyone raises objection he will be looked upon as if had descended from an alien planet.

If you can visualize what will be the situation in next 5-10 years in India or Canada, then it will be easy to make any decision.

If you are financially stable then there is no need to live in metros. Life in metros is always stressful (Be in Canada or India).

Why in the world you even assume that we do not have family, relatives and friends in India who portray the real picture than some one running the "Sky is falling" rhyme endlessly.

Under-employment of students passing out of lot of university here in Canada is a major concern. And there no end in sight for this underemployment problem (as its worse than un-employment).
No having a job is a motivation to do something or eligible for benefits; but having a job & not getting paid enough is the worst part.

Have we come to Canada to see our kids grow up & face such a nightmarish situation, sometime in the future.

Older persons are not retiring (they either have to work, or are forced to work), whatever, end result is lack of opportunities for younger ones.

And at the same time, India is booming with jobs. so much so, that non-Indians are moving to India in look for work & getting employed with decent pay.

Bells ringing? Not yet !!! I know its a hard decision to make. But for someone just passed out of university & not getting a job for 1 yr, Man common move to India & get a job almost instantly.. & live your life !!

Unemployment rate -

Canada 7.2% (Feb 2012)
India 10% (2010)

May be preference is given to the foreign educated.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Canada - Population - 34 Million - Unemployed just 2.25 million
India - Population - 1200 million - Unemployed 120 million.

This clearly proves that India has a lot of unemployment. So CD's must never think of going back to India for a job. They should stay in Canada despite the cold, racism, high cost of living, longer healthcare wait (but free) times and lack of jobs.

Peace

If someone is not able to get a good job and comfortable life in Canada, he/she should not waste any more time here and move on to the place where he/she can find better job and lifestyle. It could be Middle East, India, Singapore or Australia – depending upon individual’s circumstances and choice.

The agricultural land you're talking about have been sold long back to realtor.

Listen, in the world the most of the civilizations have formed at the banks of Fresh water reserves, you know what I mean..

India's biggest compromise is letting the agricultural land being sold to industrialization then the fresh water and agriculture are being compromised heavily putting future generation at greater risk.

When all the modern economics and currency wars fail, you run towards food and water..

- Indian majority population still lives in rural areas, where there are other source of income, & living expenses are broadly based on agriculture. its not so in Canada.
