Its repeating again. Unwanted girl child killed. The culprit is 37 yrs old father who did not want a girl child. Its rat race again and the pressure from parents. His brother has two boys and he also wanted a boy. I dont want to go into details the torture he did on the 3 month baby.

This is not limited to a particular community. Even in Hindus its there. Everyone wants a boy. preferably two boys. Whether they are Telugu or Marwari, its the same story. When will our society change? Probably never. We live in this "great culture" that encourages boys than girls. The current male-female ratio is alarming.

What I dont understand is that these men want their mother and wife to be women whereas they dont want daughters. How so? They want theri mom to take care of them and want the wife for s**. But they dont want daughters.
Hope our sleeping netas wake up and enact some stringent rules for these kind of crimes. Unfortunately some of the netas are also guilty of it, apart from providing tacit support for having only boys.
