Hello,
My wife would be applying for the SINP and my birth certificate is also required in the application. I am in India.
My name on my birth certificate that was made way back in 1980 is little different than my name on my 10th Cerificate and Passport. For example,
my name on BC is Ashish Rai chaudhuri and my name on PP is Asheesh Rai.
Canadian govt would not accept this difference. So I went to the birth & death registrar office in my state and it was told to me by the HOD that after 15 years of age, NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE as per the state law. For all those who dont have a BC at all, but have a proof of the birth, they issue a letter but DO NOT register the name in the records as it is after 15 years. I cannot change the name on the PP also, as my wife has my (RECENT) name on her PP. I live in a UT where law is very strict and no alternative way is possible to get the desired result.
Would the Canadian government accept an affidavit from my father declaring
that Ashish Rai chaudhuri and Asheesh Rai are one and the same person ? If not, what do I do ?
Pls advice !
Two ways:
1. Give an affidavit saying that your birth was not registered and that your name is what is as mentioned in your 10th and passport. If you could swear this in front of the magistate and the magistrate gives you an affidavit / statement, it is of more value than the former.
2. Make a false birth certificate as per the correct name and make a seal and stamp it. Donot forget to make the page crumpled.
Seniors can help with other options.
Peace

Ha ha ha Mr Tamil you always show 1 legal and 1 illegal way ..
Well, I would only go with all legal possibilities as i did in the ROE case.
thanks Sir !
FYI - My birth is already registered and I cant hide it where I live.
