Indian public has been badly letdown by corrupt political leaders. Hopelessness and sense of being knocked down is natural outcome of widely prevailing corruption. It is time to accept the reality of corruption and do our best. In the scenario when no political party is free of corruption, I appeal to voters to judge the party which is less corrupt and bring it to power. If we are successful in bringing to power a party which is even 10% less corrupt than other, we will be making our country richer by billions of rupees. This act would be as charitable as donating blood and more charitable than donating millions of rupees to the country.
So although badly knocked down , it is for you to stand up and fight. Nobody else will.
With regards,

True.
As I see Indian's have limited options.
Modi is seen as a tyrant and a persecutor of minorities even by many Hindu's and he may not get votes.
Congress is lethargic.
AAP has its precense only in Delhi.
Personally I would prefer Modi with a cavet that he could be impeached anytime, he tries anti minority tactics.
But I am Canadian. I canot vote in India.

If the BJP is really interested in making a change, they should not wait till they come to power but should have started even when they are in the opposition.
Their stand on 2 recent issues were disappointing. One was on the entry of goondas into legislatures and the other, political parties declaring their source of funds under RTI.
On both they went along with the parties united as United Plunderers Association and are currently ruling, making the common man wonder "Are Modi and BJP going to be any different"?
If BJP wants to do good to the people when they come to power, they should not allow people like MMS, Chidambaram or Montek Singh anywhere near 100 kms of Delhi. Ministers and key persons involved in scams of United Plunderers Association must be put behind bars and tried by fast courts. They may be pardoned with lesser punishments, if they bring back the 1000s of crores deposited in tax havens. If BJP is not doing any of these and goes the Vajpayee way viz a viz Bofors, they will become no different than the UPA.
People wishing good for the country have no other choice but to keep pipe dreaming.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Indian Voters ( sensible ones, without any herd mentality ! ) do have a choice ::
" refuse to vote for a tainted soul " do it never.. If nobody good in the area do not vote , reject them all and appeal to EC to give ticket to somebody better. But then hindus will chose a hindu and muslims will chose a muslim and will fight. Religion is sucking our country dry.
AAP is a good choice for the time if there is a candidate in your area but seems like swaraj is a difficult subject for Indians who cannot live without raja-praja & bramin-shudra setup.

Please explain how to do this. I am sure there are millions of Indians wanting to do it, but cannot - since the constitution has no such provision.
