I am looking for Neem datun - neem twigs used for brushing teeth. Does anyone know of a store in Brampton/Mississauga/GTA that may carry these? Thanks in advance.

There are two types of Neem. One edible, which is Curry Patha. Currently, they all come with a branch. So, choose a size you are looking for and try it out. If you find it too soft, then try to dry it for a week or ten days. That will be the closest that you can get for starters. Alternately, see below....
The other one is Bitter Neem. I have seen it in Spadina Chinese Stores. Since the write up is in Mandarin, it is hard for me to tell you where exactly you can find it. If you are free on a Saturday, take a stroll into that area and explore. (Spadina & Queen Area.) You might find it, or they will tell you where you can get it. It is a Chinese Pharmacy with herbs and Ayurvedic products.

I think the Chinese store you might be referring to is Herbie's Herbs. I have been there before. I checked their website. They do carry Neem Sticks. I will have to buy and check if they are suitable for brushing or if they are way too dry.
What is this Curry Patha - edible Neem leaves you are referring to? Are the standard curry leaves in the Indian stores actually Neem leaves? Funny, I had no idea even though my wife buys curry leaves pretty often. Well, the stems of these curry leaves are way too thin and soft to use for brushing.
Herbie's Herb does not have Neem Sticks (Neem datun). They do not plan to reorder because there is no demand. If anyone knows of any other source, in GTA or online, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
