If your child is mostly living in Canada, for the past number of years, then you should definitely go for travel vaccine. The immune system will be totally weak due to the Canadian winter and pollutionless environment.
However, India is far better now, with clean toilets, bottled water, hygenic method of preparation of food, hand sanitization etc... but still, donot take a chance.

Peace by Murali.

If you are going to your house in India or just visiting one or two cities and most of the time you will be eating freshly cooked food at home, drinking boiled or bottled water ...... then nothing to worry and Vaccines are not needed.

If you are travelling county side, mostly eating at outside/road side food places, visiting farms and places where mosquitos will be there and you do not know how prevalent Malaria is .... then vaccines / Malaria prevention programs will help for some protection also provides some mental assurance.

Anyway.... DO NOT WORRY too much about it. If you are going for a short trip, if you can see that your children eats only very hot or very cold food if they are eating out side and drinks only mineral or boiled water ..... they do not need vaccines.

Agreed with Gurram.
Question to Gurram : Are you working a night shift in Canada or are you located in India? Reason being that I have observed that you post around sleeping time in Canada.

Thanks Guys, I think I will be skipping the Vaccines this time.
We are going only for 3 weeks and will be staying home mostly and of course if we eat outside it will be in good hotels and my girl is quite a picky eater as well.

Thanks

You are right TK. But I work at my home office during that time. Generally, I sleep late and sometimes very late that is the time mostly I visit Canadian Desi.
