Until we get a clear picture of the incident and the people in the background, it will be just my opinion and it has no bearing on the status there, i.e., if you or anyone intends to go thatway.

Goa is a 'tourist paradise'. most of them come to enjoy their stay and bask in the sun and create memories. Distractions a plenty and attractions galore, tourists get suckered into misadventures and not just Nigerians, even the locals act as agents of the local lords, not knowing who it is that is running the show. From the outset, these merchants of crimes have cut a niche for themselves and who knows what kind of wars are about to blow in that region. So, beware. There are other locations all around the Globe or even in India, tourists could go to enjoy a similar surroundings or even better and return back safely, enjoying themselves on a trip.

This incident has become a tinder box and there are millions of Indians who live and work in Nigeria, have become targets of attack. So, beware if you or anyone is heading that way for work, visit or pleasure.

Chaku and churi, I thought was long gone and belonged only to the days of piracy. Sorry to see a great location get converted into a haven for crime syndicates. It is a Paradise Lost, for the tourists and a bad name for the state of GOA and a loss of revenue to that region, till they beef up the security and bring in a false sense of security.
