No sarcasm, the point is, desis on this forum, even with bitter rivalry, when push comes to shove, they will not hesitate to help fellow desi.
Of course there are few exceptions..remember a fellow with gold and silver charts, and lots of other charts? remember a fellow who would ask for money in exchange for filling out forms for travelling desi seniors? Except for such few examples, most of the users of this site have Sant atma.
AshwaniG: Nice to know that your job is done.
Of-late I do not understand what some of our forum members write in their responses and need to read more times to figure out what they are trying to say.
I do not want to start another debate here but I do say that many desis use complex forms of expression ( some times with no sense) which makes it difficult to understand. I find native/local speakers use simple sentences to express things which are easily understood.
Good replies.
If you guys remember a guy wanted to send his laptop with a desi to be delivered to India and every one (incl. me) advised against it.
Pick up that thread and see if AG has posted anything in that.
Yes. In Canada, I am ready to drive you to a 1 $ store to buy a scarf using my car/petrol but if you ask me to deliver a glove, I would really be afraid.
But then, may be it is only me.

Means do things for which you can bear the consequences.
For example, if that glove contained coke and the customs caught you and max. punishment was 1 year, carry the glove, if one year punishment is bearable by you.
I once read in CD that someone wanted some medicines from India and once that person bought it, the counterpart in Canada did not want it anymore and also did not pay. So if the bearer was OK with the loss for the cost of medicines, then nothing to worry.

Wow! As always, poor TK had to bear the brunt of telling what it is. I mean, why would one in their sane mind carry stuff with themselves that belongs to an unknown fellow blogger/poster to a foreign land? Even soliciting others in an anonymous forum like this is beyond me.
You really have to know people personally for the past few years in order for them to trust you with the stuff, and vice-a-versa.
I won't do it, and I am sure majority would neither for the same reason as TK mentioned.
