Delhi is under Kejriwal now and to be fair to him, he should have the reins to tackle the administration. Some kind of power sharing between Center and state should be eventually developed.

Some background for the original post:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.firstpost.com/politics/delhi-live-shinde-briefs-pm-on-kejriwal-sit-in-1348359.html

There has been talk that the home minister was consulting legal experts on the issue of proceeding against Kejriwal who has made serious charges against him on money exchanging hands for transfer and posting of SHOs of Delhi Police.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lol!

Looks like Kejriwal is the NT Rama Rao phenomenon in fast forward. Sad, considering that he had reasonable success with RTI act and could go further with more useful contributions on similar lines.

In my soon to be divided home state AP, the late NT Rama Rao was voted in with spectacular majority against Congress. Voters had high hopes and expectations.

Like Kejriwal he was elected on the promise of good governance and also on regional pride. Then, like Kejriwal now, he became highly populist with so called anti-poverty schemes like Rs2 a kilo rice scheme(a cesspool of corruption really).

Finally his mismanagement caught up with him he resorted to drama with different costumes every week when the jig was up. Vivekananda costume this week, Jungle Jim avatar the next week(a potrayal from one of his films). So much so that he become better know as "Drama Rao" in the end.

However, unlike Kejriwal, he did have some vision in developing the state despite almost bankrupting it. Road transport, some irrigation projects etc. Besides he was a highly accomplished in his private life.

Looks like Kejriwal is the new drama queen and without even vision. I respect Anna Hazare more, even though I do not agree with his tactics to tackle corruption.

Sorry for bringing up Kejriwal in this thread, but it is merited.

Upon reading comments in TOI from BJP / Congress leaders alike I felt that .... AK will be criticized if he does something and he will be if he does not do anything ...So much for being admired ... :)

But going back to the OP even in case of Shiela Dixit last year , she expressed her helplessness and did try to bring the fact to public's notice that law and order in Delhi was not under her authority although she was accountable for it ..... which is clearly not fair ...

You are quickly coming into the wrong side of attention of CDs for your language & demeanor ... I would not wish to see a senior member as yourself being sidelined and become unpopular on CD ... Please try not being harsh ...

Hm…. I have been active since 2005. I have displeased many members with a different take on many issues like discrimination, education, religious views, economy and politics. When I have posted so many responses , I must have displeased many of the CD members at one point or other. I know that I am one of the very “unpopular” contributors on CD. Well, the option is either I become a “yes” man and join the crowd or provide my views, may be strong views.

I hope you would agree that at least my differing views spark some debate else on some of the issues; “liberals” suppress the voice of dissent with strategic attack and (sometimes using multiple avatars. Lol!) I have been threatened in past physical harm on at least three to four occasions. I understand the anguish and anger that I generate sometimes. Anyway, I hope that at the least I have generated some interesting discussions.

I am schedule to undergo a very major surgery next Monday. I have been told that it is a very serious surgery and there is a risk to my life too due to multiple complicated issues. I would be convalescing for at least a couple of weeks and would not be posting on this thread. Some of the CD members would certainly wish that I never come back. Lol! However, it is God’s wish. Thanks for your words of advice.

Like I said your posts are valuable and give an important view point in a meaningful way ... But some time the harsh ness supersedes everything else ... which does not do benefit to any one or the discussion itself .... and also makes the post lose its meaning ...

Your views and thoughts are always welcome and they are thought provoking ..

Please take care of your self and we wish you best of luck for your upcoming surgery - we all wish you well ... no exceptions I m certain ... Will wish to read your posts once you have recuperated .... and before that till Monday for now ...

Good luck with surgery, see you in couple of weeks or less with renowned bashing of 1) Puttoo 2) San_hugo 3) Fido...in their order :) or else they will run amok on the forum.
Hope that you have enough help standing besides you!
