I went all the way to Toronto BLS office in bitter cold only to find that the office is closed.

I came back and checked the website.. where they have put a message
(All centers closed for application acceptance till further notice )

Any idea whats happening.

Wonder what's happening. I just called the helpline and the line just drops.

The website does mention that the centre will be open from 3pm to 5pm for pick-up's

Maybe, all the esteemed personnel from the BLS are getting a well deserved slap on the face by the Indian embassy for their lousy service.

It appears closure is Canada wide.

Now that ought to encourage non-desi tourism to India, if that ever existed in the first place.

Who knows Dimple2001 , your other thread might have been read by some high Indian Official ..Good going .

So in the mean time , where can Applicants submit their OCI applications - CGI ?

I hope it's a good thing, although I am sure many are impacted, now that they can't get visas, OCI, etc for an unknown period of time.

I hope they bring back VFS, at least they knew how to do things.
