I had visited them in Dec last to file a surrender certificate application for us. Since I had booked an appointment online , I did not have to wait in the queue and the number came up in 5 minutes .
The Sikh gentleman who entertained us checked all the papers ( directed us to get 2 copied) , was courteous and organized , filed our application and explained to us the tracking process . Based on his recommendation , I opted for a courier delivery ... The experience was very pleasant and did not take more than 15 minutes .
The Passports arrived along with the surrender certificates in 3 weeks by Fedex as promised .. I am personally satisfied till now ...

BLS, OGS, CGI? WTF!! LOL
During last week of December, on Saturday, I went to BLS Barmpton to submit OCI. It was crowded but I got out in 30 mins. Impressed to see my original documents came back in the mail within 7 days and were kept in the sequence that was sent in as if no one even touched it.
This Saturday I went to submit the passport as application was processed. Building's front door was locked and a note was kept to go back door. Went there just to see few people gathered around another locked door and confused. few more people gathered outside. After 15 mins a Jerk in coat came outside and started stating that you need to wait one hour outside and wait inside is 2 hours. he checked few documents and went inside all cozy. Rest all little children old people stranded outside. Many left as he said week days are better and I did not have much of choice because my travel time is more than an hour. Waited for 45 minutes in freezing tempratures. Aged popluation and kids were already frozen. Then the security guy came and allowed only 10 people. I was just glad to be 10th one and was expecting a huge line up, chaos etc inside. There was none. There were not even many people inside the office. I went gave passports and was out in 5 minutes.
That SOB made others wait outside in cold for no reason...What a jerk..

I hearing this like this only in Canada. Even India is better. Buy the hey! India has summer temps throughout.
Just want to share details of how I got my Aadharr card. Very easy. Walked in. They told me to write my phone no and that they will call me. Next day they called and I fixed my appointment at 3 pm on the next day. Walked in. 1 family before me and 2 families after me. All done in 15 mins and we walked out.

TK ... what address proofs or photo ids required to submit for Aadhar card.
What is the best way to get it without hassles. Does Canadian citizenship comes on the way at any time. I am planning a trip again in June for two weeks and I want to get in done if possible.
