Our Martyrs and the Kins

A good effort by CNN IBN to highlight grievances of kins of our martyr.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVWEncVYesI&list=UUef1-8eOpJgud7szVPlZQAQ

On 26 Jan (or 15 Aug), we should remember the Martyrs from armed and other security forces who made supreme sacrifices and Also try to listen to the plight of their kins. Every Indian citizen should see 26 Jan as not only the day when we got our constitution but also those people who guarded it and continue to do so.

In my view, It is important to lay wreaths on Amar Jawan Jyoti but equally important is listening and repsecting the kins 's interest.

Like one of the kin said , "end of the day kisi ko fark nahi padta, fark use padta hai jispey gujar jati hai..."

Salute.

that is why every INDIAN should serve in Military for a couple of years in whatever capacity they can.

especially any wannabe politician or bureaucrat must do their time in field for a few years to understand the realities of keeping the Citizens safe.

This Republic Day the movie on V.O.Chidambaram Pillai really brought tears. last time it was Attenborough's Gandhi.

Can't escape the feeling on what today's politicians are doing with the hard earned freedom.

As Santji has said compulsory military service is a must. Most likely, our people who are adept at following "Martyr, thy neighbour" policy, would duck by producing medical certificates. They must not be allowed to do so.
