You are sure about nothing ... no one is defending Ilmi..... And are you trying to say that BJP & VHP are not allies for communal purpose? ...
Day in and day out we are hearing communally inciting statement from politicians ... which might make this election ( and perhaps a trend to follow ) communally biased ...
Amit Shah , Azam Khan , Togadia , Ilmi and the greatest of them all ... Modi ... Okay he may not have said anything but BJP and allies are communal .. no qs about that I hope ... for the same reason the other ever communally fired up community will not give a single vote to BJP ... which would perhaps make the tussle more intense .
It might be for good or bad , can't say certainly unconstitutional to make these statements ..... and then I think of 100 years hence , when Muslims are in a size able majority ( or whenever that time comes ) .... would India tend to become Islamic ???
Maybe we might need a change of constitution to the effect of the same not happening.... or maybe there may be a civil war ......
Or may be somehow if we could rise over this religion thing somehow and focus more on economic growth and all round development ..... wishful thinking ..... BJP fans one type of communal ism , Congress , SP appease another type.. It is a hope that AAP may be a party rising above these and I hope that Ilmi's opinion are her own and not of the Party ..
Watched this movie Kai Po Che some times back and the end effect the movie has is - ' Rise above communal ism and focus on other things ' ..

Fido.
When you don't have anything else to defend attach others.

Hurat Honani Murat!
Bad move by Shazia Ilmi, its a second mistake in her public life and against the AAP philosophy. AAP leaders need to always keep in mind that in desperation to gain votes, they cannot move away from basics. Such moves can easily be compared with Modi's decision to keep people like Bokharias , Pushottum Solanki and Amit Shah in his cabinet, just for the sake of keeping the chair or Sonia going to Imam to ask for muslim votes.
It'll be interesting to see what Kejriwal does next...whether he sticks to his ideals and disassociates her from the party or not. His conscience allowed him to resign on principle like he says, wonder what it will do now.
I'm glad Modi is rising above this nonsense.

Targeting Modi, Priyanka Gandhi says that concentration of power in one person is not good. She said while she was campaigning for her mother.
This is interesting. She should remember that her grandmother made a mockery of democracy during emergency in 1975-77. Now the defeat is staring, Priyanka Gandhi is looking desperate.
Priyanka Gandhi is saying this in the backdrop of recent (hardly surprising) revelations from insiders about Manmohan Singh being Sonia's puppet. What a spectacular fall from grace for a once highly respected man and someone who most Indians considered to be one of the "good guys".
So what she really means is its only a problem if the concentration of power is not within her family. So long as her Mom pulls all the strings, it is all ok.
Not that they had much, but this family has lost all credibility whatsoever. It is really funny how Priyanka is now taking on a much more active role with Rahul's campaign floundering.

Not sure why Priyanka should be given any attention...at least her brother have been in politics for some time..
Yeah but let her come in more limelight and hopefully her goon husband would get exposed. He is very suitable to become UP's CM. Pure shakal se gundagardi tapkati he usake. Shehjade and sahabjade jamai would completely screw the country.
Whereas when BJP gets into power, their members would take the corruption and gundagardi at such a level that India never saw before. They will act as how starving people from famine would attack on delicious food.
There was hope with AAP, but they screwed up in Delhi and got greedy with that small victory. Now they lost credibility, partially, if not completely. Whoever is advising Kejriwal, is taking seriously wrong decisions.
God Bless India!
