Alright, one of my friends has just taken 8com for CAD145 which has all the four facilities bundled up for one year. Second one is using cell phone service from chatter which is costing him @ CAD 15 per month with limited SMS, sounds quite cheaper, but don't recall which package is this ! For landline and Internet, he is having some other service, could not take the full info though. But he told me that he does not have any cable and with high speed Internet, manages the Asian channels. So guys I have only this much info so far, but also know that Rogers is the most expensive and been asked not to go for it. Hope to hear from you guys further, thanks

Rogers has various customized plans which they generally don't advertise. You have to contact a rep who can offer that plan.

Depending on your needs, you could select a plan and sign-up. Other Wireless providers are Telus, Fido (owned by Rogers, even Chatr is owned by Rogers), Bell

Asian TV

As regards your friend who does not have a cable subscription but gets the Asian channels using his internet, there are services available. Although these are not legal, they are openly advertised. High speed internet

Quite a few providers. You could get DSL with unlimited D/L for around $30 / month
