I am a Mechanical Engineer with 2.5 Years of experience & thinking of immigrate to CANADA as a PR with my wife.
But I am confuse between CANADA & Australia
And in which part of the country their is good Job opportunity for Mechanical Engineer in CANADA or AUS.
Dude,
Better move to Australia.
Yes. USA is good but it will be ages till you qualify to move to USA and that would take a lot of money on jobs and upgradation of you skills in Canada.
If your sole aim is to move to USA come here or if it is peace of mind and a relatively easy job search, please move to Australia.
Have you heard about Gulf. I am hearing that Gulf is also good for mech engineers.

First, check your eligibility for both CA and Aus. You can't reach on the 10th step without embarking upon the first. Once you know the requirements and your eligibility, decide accordingly. Go through this:

Mechanical Engg. is a specialized and regulated profession here in Canada. Not sure about Aus though. My suggestion is to check the various job portals to know what the position requirements are and equip yourself with these skills RIGHT BEFORE you land. You may as well look for acquiring skills such as SAP (Manufacturing), PMP, etc. Good SAP discussion:

I met some people in the past that landed in a Technologist and Engg. job without going through the licensing and/or certification process. But, that is sheer luck.
More than anything else, it's the communication and soft-skills that matter in these countries. So, if not already, please do work on your English speaking and writing skills (can't stress enough), body language, and presentation skills. In order to succeed in these countries you need to infuse some confidence in your personality. Academics is one thing, and how you present yourself is another. Don't be surpsised if in the interviews you'll be asked more soft-skills questions than the ones related to your domain. But, that's a long shot for now - thought to mention.
You can start with these job portals:

http://www.monster.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK
http://www.linkedin.com" rel="nofollow">LINK
http://www.craigslist.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK (choose the country and the job category).

Google
Here's another credible resource/stats from Govt. of Canada on Mechanical Engg.:

I am sure if you Google about Australia, you would find some related information as well. Australia sure does have an edge over Canada in terms of weather. However, you can avoid the cold places and might as well settle in Victoria, Vancouver that are more mild with negligible snow and wind-chills. Besides, being more beautiful. I am biased as I live here.
Your call now.
