Britishers have inflicted huge atrocities on the people of their earstwhile colonies, committed unspeakable torture, suppressed their rights and killed thousands. A tiny country with misplaced sense of their importance, with a trailer trash mentality of their Monarchs (Sleeping with their subjects – D had multiple affairs with all sorts of people) and absolute cunningness have wrecked havoc on life of millions of people.
If Scotland separates, I will be very happy.

For a common man who has been held under a thumb, they want to experience the freedom and there is nothing like it.
But for the people with money and doing business the impact will be devastating. So, they are the ones who will dictate and determine how the votes will swing and in their favour.
Six of one and half a dozen of the other.
Now for the VOTES.... It will be a BIG NO. So, it is a status quo.
Back to the grind.

The next time referendum comes up. Scotland will definitely separate.
This was a NO , but don't see that happening again say 10 yrs from now.

well do not forget that many of the British Raj generals were of Scottish descent.
Lord Mountbatten the clever and crafty governor general who divided India and Pakistan was Scottish.
I don't feel any particular sympathy with the Scottish.
this whole Irish-Scottish-British thing is their own created mess, and as far as we south Asians are concerned, they are all the same.
