The drama is unfolding for the last several days of Ajit Singh former minister and son of Late PM Charan Singh, not vacating the government bungalow where he was living for the last 36 years. He is one of our USA returned neta-son turned neta, descended on India, supposed to pull the country of all its miseries. But somewhere the script had gone wrong and is now being labeled squatter refusing to quit his bungalow after losing the last elections and also his minister post. He had been served notice as early as June to quit enabling the house to be allotted to one of the new minister.

Worse still, he has brought a few hundred from his native place to resulting in police lathi-charge and water canon. The demonstrators have threatened to cut off water supply for the entire Delhi in retaliation for cutting off water supply for the minister's house.

The ex-minister wants the bungalow to be made memorial for his father and only when he is being asked to vacate. The Singh family were famed to own 100s of acres in their Baghpat Constituency, where they have been MPs for the last nearly 40 years.

The dude should be striped of his right to stand for election again. he should be made a common man and made to run corners. His pension (if any) should be canceled and an FIR should be filed against him for this incident. This will teach other ex politicans to behave. Hope since Modi is in the centre, such things will not happen.

Very difficult to believe that the CBI Chief Ranjit Sinha had met the 2G and Coalgate accused without the knowledge, consent or approval of the people now in power.

Like it happens only in movies the CBI Chief's counsel Vikas Singh barged into the Supreme Court where the CJI was hearing Prashant Bhushan arguement, grabbed the centre stage and asked the Court not to listen to Bhushan.

The CJI had remarked "If this is the way things are happening in the First Court, what will be the situation in other courts". What he meant must be about the fate of justice for the common man.

DELHI INDIAN

Today we see the Delhi police barricading near Ajit Singh residence of 12, thuglak Road, and preventing members of his Jat caste from conducting a Mahapanchayat.

We can accuse these mahapanchayat people for attempting to run a parallel judiciary. But we cannot stop admiring their sparkling white attire. May be Surf Exel or Ariel can run an ad like Amul.

India may be able to evict even the Chinese squatters at the border, but not this squatter sitting on government property in the heart of Delhi.

Meanwhile, can we request the Modi government to act with the same alacrity when they deal with Corporate willful defaulter who ripped off 1000s of crores from Public Sector Banks .

There should not be one set of rules if he has a kisan background and another if he wears a corporate mask.
