Hello everyone/Seniors of this group.
I need your assistance. My wife has a hearing with the citizenship officer to evaluate her English proficiency. She is taking ELT classes however her speed is slow.
I request your help what type of questions can be asked and any advise /tip so she can pass the hearing. Is there any Do's or Dont's for hearing. How she can pass the hearing interview.
My kids are also in the same file and they are also suffering.
Thank you
Irfan
Just play it cool.
The judge will ask basic questions about Canada and living in Canada, mainly to ensure that the individual has actually lived in Canada and familiar with day-to-day life.
They will ask to name provinces, capitals, leader names, govt. structure (municipal, provincial, federal, etc.), names of major rivers, mountains, attractions, a little bit of history, etc.
Study the guide well, and generally be aware of history and major historical events, such as the Confederation, War of 1812, etc.
