Where did you get 20 docs notarized for $20?

sending in 4 different envalopes-increases chances they may lose some documents- better in one envalope.

are you in calgary/SK ?
go to any local insurance office( cheapest option)-most of them has notary license or google try any mobile-notary - they will come to your home($ 10-20 extra charge)

you can Call BLS- they will send you ONE Fed-ex sticker by email-
they charged me total $150 for 4 applications

$30 x 4 = $ 120.00 for 4 return post
1x$30 for Fed-ex sticker--to send all 4 applications in one envelope

not sure why they asking you to send seoparately- they keep changing mind everyday ;(

Hi ChandraGupt,

Thanks for your helpful replies. I'll try to find out an insurance office or see if I can find any mobile notary. This never occurred to me, I was always thinking of going to a lawyer and they are way too expensive.

BLS has already charged me $200 for 4 applications and they have sent me 4 stickers by email - one for each application and each costing $50.

Did you get 5 stickers in total then? 1 for pickup and 4 for delivery back to you?

NO- they send me only one sticker to put all documents in one fed-ex envalope,

they kept remaining stickers /money with them so they can mail my originals once OCI ready

why they charged you $200 for 4 applications ?- courier cost may be different for other provinces- i applied from saskatchewan,

Are you in Alberta or BC ?

I am in Calgary, Alberta.

I wonder why they sent me 4 labels. To add to the confusion, one person told me to put all the applications in one envelope but attach all the 4 shipping labels to the envelope. Next time when I called, another person told me that it is recommended to send each application in its own envelope even if all belong to the same family.

When I asked how would they know if the separate envelopes belong to the same family, he said they'll figure out from the file refereance no which will be same for all the four applications and also asked me to put in a cover letter mentioning it. But when I filled the online part for each of us, it generated a different file reference no for each application. I guess its best to go in person as there is a BLS office in Calgary.

ChandraGupt, which local insurance company you went to for notarization. I wonder if they have an office in Calgary too.
