very sad news....
The majority of victims were students at the school, which is attended by about 1,100 students in grades 1-10. Nine staff members also died in the attack and another 121 students and three staff members were wounded.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a militant group bent on overthrowing the government, claimed responsibility for the attack.

Nothing is more painful than seeing the innocent kids being hurt.
I wish Pakistan learns something from this and stop distinguishing good and bad terrorists/taliban. They are what they are.
"It's like that old story - you can't keep snakes in your backyard and expect them only to bite your neighbours. Eventually those snakes are going to turn on whoever has them in the backyard," Clinton said during a joint news conference with the (then) Pakistani Foreign Minister , Hina Rabbani Khar .

Hillary was right , very sad, tragic & horriffic , but if Pakistan raises snakes to bite India ..especially Kasmir..this is the tragic outcome of it. Hope they learn from it.

The difference between right and wrong never occurred to Dhuryodhan or Ravan, even when their near and dear ones or their entire armies got wiped out.
Even if we had any doubt in the corner of our minds that this worst terrorist act and tragedy might turn the corner, that can be deleted.
We have Hafiz Sayed still roaming free and along with Kargil Zero Musharaff blaming India for the loss of lives. Hafiz Sayed,UN declared terrorist with a bounty of 9 Million USD on his head is talking of revenge on India. Added to this, they have let out of the kennel 26/11 handler Lakhvi, out on bail.
The poor people of India do not seem to have a choice. We have a member of the Mob living next door. His good times we are in trouble and his bad times, only more trouble.
Peacenik Suhasini Haidar captioned today's The Hindu headlines, India and Pakistan ''unite'' in hour of grief.

Pakistan got no oil wells, so power goons will not care, no matter how many kids will die there. There will be words and tweets of condolences, thats it. But that or anything will not fill the void parents are feeling. These were kids of army personnel. It remains to be seen , what decisions are made by Pakistan army / govt to keep the moral of their soldiers high. There has to be retaliatory action. I personally think there should be one, else what other option is to provide solace to affected ones.
