Khemka was heading the Transport department in Haryana. Now he is transferred again by the BJP government which justified the action as “routine transfer with a good intention" and he had been given a "good posting". Khemka now is given the dual charge of Secretary and Director General, Archaeology and Museums department. Is it a good posting? Why BJP thinks it is an “important post?” Preaching is easy. I hope the PM knows about this. If he knows and keeps quiet, then something is wrong here.
In a tweet, Khemka said, "Tried hard to address corruption and bring reforms in Transport despite severe limitations and entrenched interests. Moment is truly painful."
From Khemka's twitter handle, it becomes seemingly clear that he is disappointed with the transfer. Coming from BJP, which always up'ed their ante against Vadra throughout the campaign and afterwards, it is surprising. But, actually not highly surprising. I have always maintained the BJP and Congress are two sides of the same coin. It's proven time and again. Khemka affair put a final nail on the coffin.
How come PM doesn't know about this? He's the supreme leader of BJP and I am sure the State decisions are taken with everyone in the know how.
Remember, when everyone was contemplating that Khemka would be given an important portfolio once BJP comes to power? I have always been a cynic when it comes to India's mainstream parties. However vocal they are, they do not go after their own. NEVER! They know the tide could turn against them once out. It's also a worst politic. Let the courts do their due diligence (do they?). With CBI hand in glove with the parties in power, the honest Bureaucrats are shown the door and transferred, I see very little hope with India's future. The politics will keep disappointing the common man, and the show will go on.
So, you are a big fool if you think the cases against Sonia, Rahul, Vadra would be decisive along with the 'free 'n' fair' court decisions against them. Nothing's going to be changed in this aspect. Khemka's bitter transfer proved it, once and for all.
The reason of his transfer is hidden in his tweet itself - "Tried hard to address corruption and bring reforms in Transport despite severe limitations and entrenched interests".

I hope he does'nt commit suicide. ( no sarcasm here, just worried)
Khemka's transfer, is very painful not only to the honest IAS Officer but also to millions of Indians who want probity in public life.
More than this transfer there was this eye opener discussion yesterday in ND TV. Thanks to Burqa Dutt we could very good insights into what is the ground reality not only in Khemka's department but the entire country.

Our final conclusions are
The politician is given the marching orders if he is corrupt and non-performing.
Senior level IAS Officer can be given transfer orders by his politician boss, if they too are not able to perform. Similarly the lower level officers and employees should also be given transfer every few years. Otherwise, the lower level will hold the organisation to ransom. Khemka must quit IAS, join politics, himself become the top management(politician) to take on this corrupt system.
